Ways to donate to the Endowment Trust
The SACS Endowment Trust has set a goal to raise R100 million in honour of our 200-year birthday celebration in 2029. We appeal to the whole SACS community to consider donating to this worthy cause.
The success of the SACS Endowment Trust and the future of our school will be largely dependent on our ability to come together as a community to support our various projects and other initiatives.
The SACS Endowment Trust invites alumni, past and present parents, NGOs, foundations, and corporates to support these initiatives and contribute to the Trust. A strong endowment will ensure that SACS remains competitive and provides an ongoing example of what is possible in education in South Africa.

The SACS Endowment Trust has a relationship with Myriad Europe/King Baudouin Foundation to facilitate effective and efficient giving to SACS. UK donors and certain European based donors can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through various channels we have in place with Myriad Europe.

Donors and alumni based in certain European countries (specifically Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg and Netherlands) can donate to the European Friends Fund SACS via our partner Myriad Europe.

US-based Donations
US-based donors and alumni can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through a contribution to the American Friends of SACS at Myriad USA (formerly the King Baudouin Foundation United States or KBFUS). Myriad USA partners with industry-leading payment processor every.org to accept and deliver your tax-deductible donations to SACS. There are multiple payment options such as Card, via your Bank, DAF, PayPal, Apple Pay, Crypto etc. Myriad USA is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) of the IRS, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions. You will receive a tax receipt from Every.org, Myriad USA’s online giving partner, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation.
Some helpful hints:
The every.org platform is a free service to non-profits. They automatically add 5% onto your donation to SACS. This is editable as you go through the payment process, click edit to make the opt in fee R0.
If you are doing a bank transfer, you are able to add your bank to the transaction and Every.org uses Plaid to connect to your account.
